I am so happy to be able to drop off a big donation of candy on Monday to Rock House Kids. They are looking for candy for Valentines Day! I feel a bit bad that is isnt all specifically Valentines wrapping but…hopefully it wont matter 🙂
11 Harbio Gummy Bears (5 were $0.40 or less per bag and the rest were $0.10)Â $2.60

8 M&Ms (all were free. They were bought used as fillers at Walgreens to bring total up in order to use a register reward)
12 packs of gum. The most I paid for them was today when I paid $0.27 for 3 of them. The rest were free
6 specific Valentines candy (Twix or M&Ms) all were $1 and were a total of $2 yesterday at Walmart
So for $7.62 I am able to provide Rock House Kids with 45 candies ( and Harbio for example can be used for several children!). (prior to using coupons this all would have cost me $37.80…$1 Harbio each, $0.60 Skittles each, $0.50 M&Ms, $1 each on gum, $1 on Valentines)

Yes thats right. I was at Woodmans at 6 am with my friend Ryan to teach him how to coupon! 🙂 (us and about 3 other customers 🙂 ) I had not been in Woodmans for a while so I was happy to go and check things out . Here is what I found:

This post is a good example of everyday shopping. In the past several weeks ( with so many double and triple coupon deals) we have been very focused on how to score many FREE items or how to save 70% 80% or more! Yes saving 70% or more is awesome BUTÂ it isnt necessarily the norm every time you shop. If you always shop , say Woodmans, and you never had used coupons, saving 50% now by using coupons is a GREAT deal! thats 50% in your pocket! (and I did in fact get some free or almost free items!)

Just my opinion about Multi Grain Peanut Butter Cheerios
Yesterday I got some Multi Grain Peanut Butter Cheerios at Walmart. I gave these a try this morning. Ok let me preface this with one of my favorite childhood cereals was Peanut Butter CapN Crunch! Well when I opened the Multi Grain Peanut Butter Cheerios I immediately smelled this wonderful peanut butter! Mmmmmm childhood flashback! 🙂
So I tried these new Multi Grain Cheerios and my honest opinion…YUM!!! They are reallyy good!
Unlike other peanut butter cereal there was a light non sugary taste. They were very good. Good enough that I would break my cereal for under $1 rule and get them again!
