Target coupons = FREE (or almost free) stuff!

Some very noteable coupons over on Targets page (under grocery). Reminder that you can use a Target store coupon AND a manufacturer coupon on the same item! And here is how you do it! Prices were what I saw at the Machesney Park Target on 173. Check local store for prices

Target coupon for $2.00 off 2 Activia 4 packs

Check your inserts from today for $1/1 coupons to stack. Use 2 and also the above Target coupon

I saw 4 packs on sale 2 for $4 at 173 which by using one Target and 2 manufacturer coupons makes THEM FREE!

Target coupon for $1.00off one Up2U multipack. Check back by grocery in the candy aisle. Up2U multi packs are on sale ( at 173) 2/$5 – $2.50 each. Use 2 of the above Target coupons and check your binders for $1.00 off one Up2U multi packs coupons from 2 weeks ago. Use 2 . You will pay just $1.00 of 2 multi packs!

Target coupon for $0.55/1 Up2U single packs. Print 2 and use 2 $1/1 single pack UP2U manufacturer coupons from 2 weeks ago. Use a Target and manufacturer coupon for each pack. I believe they run around $1.27 ish so FREE. Reminder that Target policy is to not give an overage however your mmv (mileage may vary) by store and cashier. They should adjust the manufacturer coupon down so the gum is free but no overage

Sunday morning couponing totals!

So after 3 stores and what felt like being on a coupon spree 🙂 here are my totals from today:

Walgreens

Before coupons $10.99

after coupons $2.50

Target

Before coupons $9

After coupons $1 ($1.27 total)

CVS

Before coupons: $34.42

After coupons $10.18 (but I have $7 in ECB in my possession!)

Totals for all 3 trips:

Before coupons: $54.44

After coupons $13.68 (and I have $7 ECB in my possession so $8.68)

75% savings ( not figuring in $7 ECB)

Figuring in $7 ECB 85% savings!

CVS trip

I did 3 transactions this morning at CVS. I was all off because of one transaction so lets see how it worked out 🙂

Transaction #1:

2 Colgate Total Advanced $2.75 each

used 2 $0.75/1 coupons from todays inserts

Final cost $4 plus tax

Got $4 ECB back after I paid

Transaction 2: which is where it goes crazy 🙂 Sale is buy$15 get $5 ECB

6 Speed Sticks @ $1.99 each $11.94

One Soft Soap Body was $3

Total $14.94 (good reminder that if you are close to $15 the ECB will still print!)

Used 3 B1G1 FREE  Speed Stick (which rang up at $3.99, the max value for the coupon. They should have rang up at $1.99. Cashier and I both saw it and she said that was fine. OK by me 🙂 ) so I got $3.99×3 ($11.97 off total) (FREE Speedstick plus $0.03 overage) (this is the second time I have used a B1G1 free coupon at CVS that rang up at the max price on the coupon and not for the price of the item.)

Used  $1/1 Softsoap body wash coupon (from inside specially marked Colgate toothpastes)

I also was GOING to pay with the $4 ECB from transaction 1 BUT my total WITH TAX was $3.20. Since ECBs cannot pay for tax she would have had to adjust the $4 ECB down to the total of $1.97 ( what it was before tax). I did NOT want to burn a $4 ECB to have it adjusted to $1.97 so I chose to pay cash for this

Total after coupons $3.20

Got a $5 ECB back after I paid!

Transaction #3

2 Nivea Lip ( rang up at $2.99 each but should have rang at 2/$5)

2 Nivea Body wash $4 each ($8)

Total $13.98

used a $3/2 Nivea Lip

used 2 $1.50 off 1 Nivea Body wash

Paid with the $5 ECB from transaction #2

Total $2.98 before tax

**Second issue this am. Nivea lip did not ring at 2/$5 and when looking at my receipt it did not count it towards the $10 needed for the ECB. I pointed this out to the cashier. She just printed me a $3 ECB. Technically I over paid by $0.98 for Nivea Lip. Total should have been $2 before tax. I wasnt going to argue as I had been in there forever 🙂

Watch prices if you do this deal and make sure it all rings up correctly and the ECB prints

Total today paid: $10.18 ( tax not included in 2 totals)

Left with a $3 and a $3 ECB ($7 total)

so $3.18! Id say a good day

I continue to have some frustration with CVS, despite getting good deals. I was there when they opened. New ad and new ECBs running yet when I left there were only 2 Speed Stick on the shelf, many other items were low or they had none (Nivea, soft soap etc) .Holes in stock everywhere. I get frustrated when a new ad is out and they dont have what is in the ad. Also I do get frustrated when the ad has a price and it doesnt ring correctly. Thats just me. Seems like poor marketing.

Noteable coupons in todays inserts Target Huggies and Activia alert!

Here is a lit of noteable coupons I see in my home delivered Chicago Tribune this morning. Coupons vary by paper

Walmart ad insert:

It is a beauty insert. Check the back page as I have a $1 off Nivea Lotion 13.5 oz or Eucerin 16.9 oz lotion. You can use the Nivea at CVS this week

Red Plum:

  • $1.50 off any 3 M&Ms 9.4 or larger

You can use any where. Walgreens has them 2/$5. Use this plus the coupon booklet coupon for $1/2 making them 2/$2.50

  • got2b $3 off any full size product. While I dont see this in the ad Im hearing that full size may already be $3 at Walgreens making it FREE with coupon. Ill check it out and let you know. Im hearing that they are on sale B1G1 free at $5.99 so get 2 and use 2 coupons for 2 FREE products. Ill check though
  • My favorite page: Several Nivea coupons. Good to use at CVS this week
  • $1.00 off one Secret (excludes trial/travel size). You may find some  good clearance at Target on Secret
  • Welchs coupons if you need more

Smart Source:

  • $2.00 off Pull Ups and $0.75 off Pull up wipes ( I just got wipes at Woodmans for $1.79 so $1.04 after coupon). You may find them cheaper at Walmart or target
  • $1.00 off any Land O Lakes butter. Use on the smaller tubs which run under $1. I usually save these for doubling at Sullivans and score these free
  • $1.00 off any one Activia 4 pack. These are always $2 or less so look around and score a 4 pack for $1. Again a good one to hang onto if you shop Sullivans. There is also a target store coupon on their webpage ( top right is the coupon icon) for $2 off 2 4 pack of Activia. Use that and 2 $1/1 coupons and they should be close to FREE for 2 4 packs!
  • Tru Moo $0.55 coupon! YEA!
  • $1.00 off 2 single packs for Stride gum. I see these many times on clearance at the check out at Target or wait for Sullivans to double. Packs run around $1 so get 2 for $1 or a little more
  • HUGGIES coupons! $2 off Little Movers or Little Snugglers. $1.50 off one Huggies ( any) and $0.50/1 Huggies Wipes 56 ct or larger. Check Target for clearance on diapers***There are also Target store coupons for $1.50 off Huggies Snug and Dry diapers AND $2.50 off both 44 ct or larger Huggies diapers AND 64 ct Huggies wipes!
  • Target store coupons for $3 off 2 or $1/1Scoop Away or Fresh Step Cat litter. Store coupons os if you have manufacturer coupons use both
  • Chi Chis salsa and tortillas $0.50 off one (each coupon). I believe tehse ran around $1.60ish for tortillas at Schnucks/Logli/Hilander so if the store doubles score some for under $1
  • $2 off Enfamil or Enfagrow 22.2 or larger (email me if you use this and want my coupons. northernillinoiscouponingmoms@yahoo.com)
  • Schick Hydro $2.00 off razor and also $2 off Refill. Check Walgreens for a deal this week
  • New Spring Glade coupons! The coupons do NOT specify spring scent so check Target back in the Bullseye Bodega  (and possibly in the Glade aisle) for clearance. I know i saw 2 packs of non winter scents on clearance

Also heads up:

****UPDATE THIS IS NOT WORKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes the TP itself is still %4 use the $1 coupon from Walgreens in the coupon booklet and any manufacturer coupons you have BUT THE REGISTER REWARD IS NT PRINTING!!!!!!!!!!!! It was NOT an advertised deal so dont get upset with the Walgreens cashier. 🙂 It APPERS to have been something that was reported incorrectly but many of us bloggers got wind of it and…well it doesnt seem to be working anywhere ( not Rockford, WI, ID, CA, etc!)

I havent officially confirmed this but I will try it in the morning. Im reading everywhere that there is a NEW Kleenex Cottonelle Register Reward deals starting tomorrow. Buy 2 get a $2 RR. Buy 3 and get a $3 RR. Why this is a big deal is that we have coupons for Cottonelle which expire TOMORROW. Unfortunately we got the runt of the coupons here at $0.50/2 😦 ***I am also hearing reports that it will be buy 2 get a $3 and buy 3 or more and get a $4!

But here is how to work this deal: (assuming the $2 and $3 RR deal)

Buy 2 Cottonelle ( its the 12 reg roll pack ) for $5 each ($10)

Use in the Cottonelle coupon in the Walgreens coupons booklet for $1/1 ( will deduct $2, $1 for each)  Makes them $8

Use a $0.50/2 coupon ( exp SUNDAY) makes then $7.50

Get a $2 RR back after you pay

Final cost $5.50 for 2 (makes them $0.23 per roll)

Not too bad. If you live in areas outside of Rockford you may have gotten $0.50/1 Cottonelle or even $1/1 Cottonelle coupons so this deal is better!

Assuming the $3 and $4 RR deal
Get 4 $20

Use the in coupon booklet coupon for $1/1 (takes $4 off)

use 2 $0.50/2 coupons (takes off $1)

Final cost $14 for 4

get a $4 RR back so final cost for 4 $10 ($0.20 per roll)

Hard to tell what the best deal will be since we dont exactly know the RR amount!
